Cut Action Murder

Hi everyone, 

First, I want to start by thanking you for reading my blog and liking my page. Even though I have not been clear on what it’s about Until Now.

 Surprise!! I wrote a book. 

Say what?? I know… Trust me when I say I’m just as surprised as you are. I never thought of myself as a writer. In fact,  checking off the box next to author wasn’t one of my life goals. 

But, the funny thing is that’s how life sometimes works. There are those moments where you just walk into something without knowing why or what it’s all about. It’s scary, new, exciting and unfamiliar. For a perfectionist like yours truly, that’s allot of unknowns. 

So, it was a leap of faith on my part to say yes to this call and write. But, I found once I did I couldn’t stop. Before I knew it, an entire mystery novel was born. Wow!  No one was more shocked than I. 

That’s a lot to digest. I will talk more about this in later posts. For the moment,  I wanted to let you know what I’ve been up to. Also,  to introduce myself to you at least the author part. 

My debut novel Cut Action Murder is coming to amazon on august 15th. It’s a page turning mystery that will keep you entertained and wanting to know what happens next. This book is meant for any teen or adult of all beliefs who enjoy a good mystery.  I know there are many talented authors and lots of  books to read. What makes this story unique is it is a suspense novel with a backdrop of faith woven into the story. My hope is it will add an extra layer of intrigue and connection to the characters you will come to know and love throughout this Emma Blade and Matt Parker series. I would love for you to check it out. 

People have asked how they can show their support. There are some easy ways to help any new author. First, by reading then reviewing the book. That makes it more searchable on amazon. Second, word of mouth by sharing it on your social media. Even if it’s just one sentence in a post about something you liked in the book. It helps. 

Finally, any prayers you want to say on my behalf for this project over the next several months would be greatly appreciated. I wish I could tell you I knew how to do this or what I was doing. But, I can’t. So all the prayers for wisdom, peace  and favor are more helpful than you know.
